Lonsdale Quay is THE hub for North Vancouver. At the foot of Lonsdale Avenue with the City of North Vancouver rising behind it and the mountains providing a dramatic backdrop it is positioned as would be a conductor of an orchestra. It is a market of many products, a place to eat drink and be merry, a hotel, a transportation exchange servicing buses on the northshore and connecting them to the ferry (one of the most fun ferry rides to be found anywhere) to/from downtown Vancouver.

The layout of the building is upbeat with much use of colour and lots of open spaces. The plaza on Burrard Inlet has one of the best views of Vancouver from dawn to dusk. The viewing tower is fabulous for composing wonderful images especially if there are cruise ships manoeuvering in the inlet.

A trip to Lonsdale Quay is a must do (personal opinion) and a delightful getaway experience.
