Lynn Canyon Park is part of Lynn Headwaters Regional Park. Access is by Lynn Valley Road just north of where it crosses Mountain Highway (look for sign on the right). At the southern end of the regional park it is the area most popular with locals and visitors. The park and all of its facilities are free to the public (including the suspension bridge). Many trails amongst massive trees and lots of accessible riverbanks provide secluded spots for relaxation recreation and exploring nature. The Nature Centre at the entrance to the park has lots of displays about the area, it's flora and fauna that is exciting for young and old to view. Lots of parking, public facilities and concession stand(during peak periods)available.
The area beyond Lynn Canyon Park is for the well prepared only, physically and equipment wise. Rapid changes in weather lead to potentially dangerous conditions. The terrain which contains several well documented trails providing for overnight and multi day hikes is nevertheless very challenging and demanding.
